• What will “retributive justice” achieve in #Syria? Violence only ever begets violence. The situation is horrific. Bombing solves nothing.

That is a question/statement I made via twitter and facebook a couple of weeks ago. I had some replies and saw comments on other friend’s pages which provoked me.

What is your solution to the problem?

“I see many wonderful people on Facebook quick to denounce political actions or proposals but I don’t see them suggesting alternatives. What are the solutions to horrific things such as we’re seeing right now in Syria?”

I was going to write a blog in response to these questions, but I came across someone who writes much better than me!
